saxygirl Posted May 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2004 The last time I took a cruise (OK, it was 15 yrs ago!) we used traditional assigned seating for dining. We're traveling with another couple and look forward to the flexibility of PC dining. Do we need to reserve our requested time and location for dinner each night? How is this done? rumbaLiz Posted May 31, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2004 Yes you can reserve a table at a required time if you wish. There will be an extension number to dial displayed on a list in your stateroom. If you have a particular sever that you had one night and would like again then you can ask to be on one of his/her tables. I think you have a certain time to reserve by. Otherwise you can just turn up , you might get seated straight away or they might ask you to come back and give you a hand held pager that flashes. We mostly got seated straight away ( table for two) a couplr of times we waited about 15 minutes, we had a drink or looked at our photos. It really is a great way to dine as you really dont know when you want to eat some nights...especialy if you have had afternoon tea, you might not feel like eating till quite late, its very relaxed.
