snooksie Posted February 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Hi. My husband is very disabled and has to go back to bed for frequent sleeps during the day. At home I use a baby monitor so that i can hear him when he wakes up but on ship a baby monitor will not be sufficient. I was thinking about getting a2 way radio so that I could use that as a baby monitor. Has anyone used this or has anyone any advice on what I could do? Many thanks. Cruise Puss Posted February 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2017 I've certainly seen children keeping in touch with their parents with a 2-way radio so I don't see why you couldn't use one.
retiredbrit Posted February 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2017 I believe on some radios (walky talkies) it is necessary to keep a button pressed to talk. Alan
AndrewShooter Posted February 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2017 The problem with many of the answers you get on this site is that they are opinion, rather than fact, based. Use this link to take you to the official P&O Web page dedicated to giving answer to your type of question. It also includes a contact telephone number to call for case specific enquiries. https://ask.pocruises.com/help/PO/before-you-sail/Disabled_Guest Sent from my iPad using Forums
