Four of us did a cruise excursion dune buggy tour. Driving around was fun but the stop at designated beach with lunch was terrible. Small depressing stretch of beach (no resort) with a portable tent set up with food. The tour leaders make share they have it planned that as soon as one group finishes eating, the next group rolls in.

If we had to do it over, we would have rented buggies on our own.

You can rent them in your own? What company did you ho with? Did you shop at all on the tour? Was it driving and beach only?
