10:00 am flight from Barcelona

Hi everyone. I am looking at booking a flight after an Epic cruise in October. The ship says it gets in at 5:00am. Is this too early a flight to book? Has anyone booked this early a flight in Barcelona? Any help appreciated.

Sox - there are a couple of threads on this. 10:45 on a Sunday is the line with a pucker factor added.

You can easily make it, assuming no significant delays. Even if self-assist/priority disembarkation is delayed until 6:30, and for some reason it takes you an hour and a half to make the 30-minute drive to the airport, you'll be fine.

 

In my opinion, nothing ruins the whole cruise like having to disembark at 6am on the last day, but you can make this flight.

Agree with hawkeyetlse. We walked off at 6:30 am and we were having breakfast beyond security at the airport by 7:30 am. Naturally our flight was ultimately delayed by 4 hours ensuring we had to run to make every connection after that.

I would suggest pre-booking transport to the airport. The line for a taxi can be insane. It probably won't be an issue since you are leaving early, but better safe than sorry! That was my only regret from our trip last summer.

we had a 10 flight out of Barcelona in Sept and made it with plenty of time, you will be fine.....we were in a Haven so got off early but we could of gotten off later and still made it with no problem. Early in the morning there are plenty of taxi's, it was not an issue at all
