Cozumel with a 16 month old

HI,

 

I am due to arrive in Cozumel next week. i need ideas of what to do with a 16 month old. I'm travelled and have been to Mexico several times. I'm fluent in Spanish and I'm familiar with the culture since I am myself from a Latin American country.

 

Any ideas of what to do?

 

I'm not interested in any dolphin shows nor anything like that. Things like going to a beach where there is access to an air conditioning building restrooms, water and shade is fine. walking around doing some shopping is also fine.

We took our then 18 month old to Paradise Beach in January 2005. I don't remember it being air conditioned, but in January the weather as not too hot. They had restroom facilities for changing. It was a perfect way to spend the day.
