toothy26 Posted March 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2017 We arrive at 1pm in May. I believe 4 ships in port. Is it worth going to the Hilton for a few hours? Are there time restrictions with their day pass? Also considering ship excursion to Blue Lagoon as an alternative. We are in Nassau until midnight. The day pass hours are 9 - 5pm The bar and grill starts shutting down at 4:30pm. You can stay on the property, but your vouchers end at 5pm. Depending on the day, you may have to pay a cover charge for the Bullion Bar if there is an event or band.

scubagirrl Posted March 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Thank you. Does anyone know anything about Pearl Island? Here's their website info. Unless you have an excursion from you ship, the hours won't work for you. http://www.pearlislandbahamas.com/en/beach-day.html http://booking.pearlislandbahamas.com/en/activity/54441/pearl-island-beach-day
toothy26 Posted March 14, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Thanks scuba girl. I would consider an excursion to Pearl Island. I have read mixed reviews and trying to decide between the three.
Littlebeachlover Posted March 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2017 We did this excursion last week March/2017 while on the Harmony. It's about a 30 minute boat ride to the island. The beach is a sandy cove, children and adults alike seem to be enjoying the water. Chairs/loungers were plentiful for our group but there were only a few umbrellas to take shelter from the sun. There was no pool. With the cost of our excursion ($79 pp) lunch was provided....drinks are not included. The lunch was the normal island fare of beans and rice, slaw, a small bbq chicken breast and a fried fish strip. It was okay but nothing to write home about. They have a full service bar to purchase sodas, beer and drinks.

Unless you are doing a dolphin excursion on blue lagoon, I wouldn't recommend the beach day. Granted we only saw the strip of beach facing the tender/ferry dock, but they were not very impressive, IMO. Maybe there were better locations.
