ldteddys Posted June 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2004 We have never cruised Princess before and would like to know if you can order room service off of the main dining room menu. You could do this on Celebrity which was great after a long day in port and just wanted to relax over dinner. Thanks Lisa
Toto2Kansas Posted June 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Yes, during regular dining room hours, you can call down and have a dining room menu delivered to your cabin. Then just call and order whatever you would like. Just make sure to order everything from salt and pepper to butter when you call room service. clandt Posted June 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2004 Yes, and this is the way to go esp if you have a balcony. Don't pay the 100 dollars for a balcony dinner when you can have the same delivered and don't have to worry about service people Christy
CaptData Posted June 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2004 I order Lobster the night they had it. They even sent extra tails I asked for, which was great. You can bring your own wine and have the lobster dinner on your balconey without the price. For the $100, you don't dine off the same menu that everyone else does, and it is delivered in courses, not all at once like regular room service. GloriaF Posted June 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2004 I read the review from Tammy and 1 other (sorry, can't recall the name) for the $100 balcony dinner and it did sound divine, spongerob; but I think CaptData had a valid point nonetheless. spongerob Posted June 5, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 5, 2004 I agree, CaptData's suggestion is excellent. In fact, those who might want a late-evening nosh can order a little "snack" if the dining room is still open. I think it would be a decadent treat to order a couple of tails, chill them in the fridge, and enjoy some cold lobster with room-service breakfast the next morning. What a treat!
