Firstin87 Posted March 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2017 Hi, We are sailing on April 29 and are wondering which bar is the quietest? The best choice for a quiet, more secluded drink. I'm sure each bar has its own personality and we'd like to sit down and have some peace and quiet after dinner some evenings. Thanks, Cyndy
punkincc Posted March 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2017 I love is the Aloha Lanai which is located on the aft of the ship, open air. It is covered, and because of the location you don't get a lot of wind. It is wonderful for sail aways, especially from Hilo. It is a great place for breakfasts as they set up a mini buffet in Moderno which has doors leading out onto this area. Lots of tables, and you can also carry food out from the main buffet which is adjacent, but even so, it seems that most passengers don't know this place exists, and it is seldom crowded. Aside from the tables there are also very nice couches in a center seating area, and others close to the back rail of the ship. There are huge lamps which they light at night and the whole area has a nice soft glow. It has its own bar in the corner and table service. On some nights they will have Hawaiian musicians playing soft music.

yankees111 Posted March 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2017 The quietest bar will probably be the one with the least amount of people. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rwjx2 Posted March 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2017 The Aloha Lanai is probably my favorite place on the ship! There is a bar (wine bar and cozy seating) area outside of Cagney's that is quiet and lovely too. My husband's favorite place was the double lounge in the champagne bar, definitely not as quiet, but usually had live music in the evening. Firstin87 Posted March 31, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Thank you both for your recommendations. We'll definitely explore the Aloha Lanai. Less than a month to go....
