Amber Cove Ocean Cabannas

Can anyone tell me if the ocean cabanas at Amber Cove are as close to the pool as I think they are? Based on the aerial view I saw it seems like maybe a 5 minute walk at most to get to the pools from the beach cabana area...

Yeah, 5 minutes if that. They aren't really very far away. We were there in Feb. and there was nobody at all in any of the cabanas, but that was on HAL. I'm sure on Carnival the cabanas and pool area would be a lot more popular. I thought the poolside cabanas looked pretty awesome. They are up on stilts with a balcony overlooking the pool and looking back towards the ship.

Yeah I really wanted a pool cabana but they were already sold out!!! :(
