Gorgon17 Posted November 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2005 Anyone have some thoughts on the following questions? 1) If the Avian (bird) Flu becomes a serious problem in March, will my (Cunard) cruise insurance allow me to cancel, even if the cruise proceeds? What would be the penalty? 2) I have a "c" category cabin, but it has yet to be assigned (due to a promotional fare deal). Are there C cabins that are very undesireable, e.g., engine noise, etc? What's the weather like in Southeast Asia in March? Thanks for any thoughts. Gorgon17
merela Posted November 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2005 Check out this thread on c category cabin selection: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=167555 From what I've learned, there is a big disparity between room sizes and location even within the same cabin category. Apparently, you have nothing to loose in C1 as a C1 guarantee, but for other C categories, it's better to specify a cabin number.
