Riverside Hotel - Fort Lauderdale

TLA

Recommended Posts

We are staying at the Riverside Hotel next week pre-cruise. Has anyone stayed here recently and if so, what was your experience? Also, I know the hotel is located in an area with shops and restaurants and I would like to buy a small coffeemaker for use on the ship. Are there any shop nearby (we will not have car) that might sell coffeemakers?

Thanks for the help!

Wonderful choice!... Riverside Hotel is a great hotel in a spectacular location! It's right downtown at the beginning of Las Olas Blvd., and has it's own Water Taxi stop.

I don't know about coffee makers, but there are many many high end shops & restaurants on Las Olas Blvd... http://www.lasolasboulevard.com/

If there isn't anything there you can always take the Water Taxi to the Galleria Mall, I know you can get a coffee maker there. Get off at the Doubletree Guest Suites stop.
