manitoba girl Posted November 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2005 Does anyone know if there is a cheaper rate for having brought the kids on board and staying in your room? What kind of % off is it?
Sheffie Posted November 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2005 I just went to Expedia and checked. I don't know the percent off, but the 3rd and 4th passengers were less. Go to that site and check for a date you want to travel. (Pretend you are booking. They won't ask for your credit card till the end.) Good luck! KelJ Posted November 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2005 Your third and fourth passenger in the same room are at a discounted rate. It doesn't matter if they are children. If there is one adult and two children, one adult and one child pay the higher price, and the second child would get the lower 3rd passenger rate. wrp96 Posted November 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2005 The amount of the discount for the 3rd and 4th passenger will depend on the sailing. For example, during off season times, the discount for the 3rd and 4th passenger can be substantial. But for summer sailings, which are very popular with families, the 3rd and 4th passenger rates can be almost as much, and in some cases the same, as the rate for the 1st and 2nd passenger. Your best bet is to price the sailings you are looking at with the 3rd and 4th passenger and without.
