Sheraton Biscayne Bay Imploded

Just watched on the news this morning a video of the Sheraton Biscayne Bay being imploded yesterday in Miami to make way for three condos. Stayed there the night before our first two cruises.

I saw that building a few weeks ago from my balcony at Hyatt but didn't know what it was. Now I do. :D

We stayed there a couple of times and always liked it. In fact we stayed there this past April.

I loved that hotel, I wanted to stay there again, How Sad.:(

We stayed there the very first time we stayed in Miami and really liked that hotel. Nice rooms and a great walkway in the back along the bay. Will miss it. Linda

This was the first hotel we stayed at in Miami about 10 years ago, while we were out on our balcony we watched 2 drug deals go down on the bayside path behind the hotel- kind of freaked us midwesterners out. Otherwise the hotel was very nice, never stayed there again though.
