June Weather in Galapagos?

We are booked on the Xpedition for the June 4/06 cruise. I'm aware that there are two seasons: wet and dry, and was hoping that June was the beginning of the dry season. Aside from Quito, I didn't see any posts regarding temps on the islands at that time and am curious as to what to expect.

I was there July 4th----High temp both in Quito and the Galapagos was 78-80. Lows were 55-60. Most days were partly to mostly cloudy but with only one brief period of drizzle-1 hr. Water temps ranged from 68-72 Wetsuits were used by most.

What great temperatures you had! With the exception of the water temperature it sounds perfect. Hope the weather is as great for us.
