White space on Carnival Spirit Riviera deck?

Hi, there

Could anyone tell me what the white space is on the Carnival Spirit Riviera deck plan on both sides of cabins 1197 and 1201?

It may be a linen storage area.

 

We had 1211 on the Legend and cant for the life of me remeber what was in that area beside that room. There was a wall there.. I dont recall that white area being there at all. This is where the cabin stewards had their daily meeting. (never heard them til we opened the door.

Were you happy with the location of your cabin (1211)? Did you notice any noise from the elevator/stairwell?

 

I thought that the white space around the 2 cabins I mentioned looked rather narrow, and wasn't sure whether they would be big enough for linen closets.

1211 was a perfect place.. walk out the door and there was the elevator. No you wont hear the noise for the elevator. They are located in room. You can bearly hear the ding when in the hallway. Riveria is a very quiet deck.
