Anyone have trouble with engine noise, soot etc?

 

 

 

No engines on any RCL ship. We've had aft cabins on many ships with very little issues with soot, noise or other problems except in rough seas. Then you may hear or feel the prop noise, especially if the ship pitches now to stern or too to the side. We never found it unacceptable and the views are awesome.

Just off Vision in April. We loved our aft, we were absolutely aft in a junior suite. Above us was not noisy, we were on deck 8. In normal cruising we didn't notice any vibration. Docking is when you most notice vibration in aft. Soot was not an issue for us. View and balcony were fabulous.
