how far is the airport from the pier?

just wandering if renting a car from the airport how would be the best way to pick it up..... and how much would it cost?

The airport is about 7 minutes away (depending on traffic). It should cost a couple of dollars to get there.

does it make sense to rent a car from the pier or to take a cab to the airport and rent from there? Please let me know. Thanks for your input........

To be honest, one would think it was 1/2 a dozen of one and 6 of another. Prices here are high.

 

Just for your knowledge, I have been told by my insurance agent that there is no insurance for car rentals when hired in Honduras. If you are to hire a car, go through Avis online, where you can get insurance... This has to be done before you leave.
