WinterEscape Posted November 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2005 In January, I will be going on an eastern caribbean cruise. I have done this route before and I am looking for some unique things to do in San Juan and Nassau. I have done the typical tours (sight seeing type stuff) and I was hoping some of you might be able to give me some tips on unique activiites these ports have to offer. Any suggestions? In Nassau, go to Atlantis. It's amazing. 10 minutes from the ship by taxi. $4.00 pp, each way. They have a website if you want to check it out. Cool site too. http://www.atlantis.com/flash.aspx
Gardengirl371 Posted November 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2005 We are cruising to Nassau with Royal Carib. this Sat and wondering if you can just get a cab over to Atlantis on Paradise and wander around their shops, and go to casino, etc, without paying extra to use these facilities.... You probably can, but the shops are very expensive, not your everyday stuff. You will also miss the best parts, which are the aquariums, and the grounds. Not sure they will let you out to the grounds though without paying. There were people at every door we passed, and they were checking for bands. Think the Casino is open to all...
