hisleepy Posted May 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2017 Anyone watched the show on Getaway? Any comments would be appreciated. Do we pay when we make reservation, or it will be charged to our on board account? Just want to know if we can use our on board credits on it. Thanks. Rare Huntingdon1701 Posted May 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2017 Yes, just about to review it in another thread about my Getaway cruise (baltic capitals). It's worth seeing. You pay when you make your reservation, but if you do that on the ship then I imagine you can use onboard credit. I went towards the end of the cruise and there were still quite a lot of seats free so booking it when you're on board is probably okay if you don't need to see it early on. However, do get there half an hour before it starts so that you can get seats near the stage.
sandysgarden Posted June 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Since you mentioned on board credits I wonder if someone can explain to me what they can be used for. I am especially wondering if we could use them to cover drinks bought. We don't drink much so its not worth buying that pkg. but we have about 75.00 of credits. Thanks for any info. Rare Huntingdon1701 Posted June 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Onboard credit can be used to purchase pretty much everything on the ship except paying for gratuities*. So, it can be used for - drinks, meals in the speciality restaurants, shows, shore excursions, right down to postcards and souvenirs in the shop. *Thinking about it, you probably also can't use it for artwork. Nutshell66 Posted June 23, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 23, 2017 We will be at this show next month. What is the menu that is offered ? Thank you. The food included a caprese salad appetizer, filet mignon (medium, no choice), garlic prawns and vegetables. Dessert was a trio of miniatures including a flan and red velvet cake. The dinner itself was very good. The app and dessert just ok. The show was entertaining.
Lapuce28 Posted June 23, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 23, 2017 When you write: filet mignon (medium, no choice), is it for meat or for cooking because I eat my meat well cooked. If it's for cooking, I'll be unhappy. Merci beaucoup !
stp108 Posted June 24, 2017 #10 Share Posted June 24, 2017 I read somewhere that they offer a vegetarian option if you request 24 hours in advance.
Bella O Posted June 24, 2017 #11 Share Posted June 24, 2017 I loved it! The show was creative and fun and enaging. Definitely reccomend. Thought the food was good - esp for this kind of venue. Our show was a full house, so get there early for better seats.
