Need Information about Manzanillo

Does anyone has the following information about Manzanillo;

 

1) The distance from port to Manzanillo town ?

2) Any good website that I can get information about sightseeing and beaches.

3) Any recommended self guide tour?

The town is at least a few miles from the port. There is nothing right at the port to do or see except a lot of container ships. There is a bus right outside the ship that you can buy a round trip ticket into the town. We did that, and I think it was only a few dollars each. They let you off in the town square, and the downtown area is right there. It was interesting to walk around there, because it is not just a tourist area. It is the actual area where locals do their shopping. There are grocery stores, hardware stores, clothing, etc. You can see the actual life in Mexico, not just the tourist areas.

We did not do any tours or beaches, so can't help you with that.

The bus picks up about every half hour so you can stay as long as you want.
