mvaughn11 Posted June 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2017 So we fly to Anchorage in a few days. We're staying overnight before the cruise at the downtown Hilton. We're cruising southbound on Princess and would like to take on board with use the allowed one bottle of wine. I was wondering if any of you experienced travelers might recommend a place downtown where one could buy a nice bottle of wine? Thanks in advance! Things have changed in 5 years in Downtown, just not the ability to get to wine and/or groceries, though, food and/or alcohol venues are always there, and, a lot of them for years! snowmc Posted June 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2017 If you can get transportation, there is a Fred Meyer near downtown. They have a good selection with decent prices.
mvaughn11 Posted June 17, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Found a nice little store called "Brown Jug" at 5th and I, across from Captain Cook hotel. Nice wine selection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
