RCCL Hilton Rose Hall Cancellation

We got a notification that the Hilton Rose Hall shore excursion with Royal Caribbean we signed up this summer for was cancelled. Does anyone know why?

Interesting...I did not see it listed when I was shopping for beach break on RCL website. Maybe because RCL is offering Jewel Bay package instead?? I am thinking either Hilton or Royalton for my trip in August.

On our last Falmouth stop, we went to Rose Hall Hilton and it was wonderful! Beautiful gardens, relaxing lazy river and good enough food. It was very nice. I don't know if there's any connection but I just read that RCCL is pulling a few ships out of the Falmouth port because of various issues.

Wonder which is the 3rd RCL ship...so far my itinerary still shows Falmouth as a port of call.

They were offering both excursions at the time when we had signed up for Rose Hall and they cancelled.

Did you book Rose Hall through the ship? How far is it from the Falmouth port?

Normally I book shore excursions online because they're less expensive, BUT, I have some concerns about safety in Jamaica, so I booked this through RCCL. Rose Hall Hilton is easy to book online and is much less expensive than doing it through RCCL.
