soontohoneymoon Posted November 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2005 We are honeymooning on the POA Jan. 21. Which restaurant should we enjoy the first night (prior to leaving the port) in which we can watch the sunset around 5:30 to 6 pm? Thanks.

ejnsb Posted November 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2005 The ship docks straight into the port and by the time we got in and settled the sun had already gone down but my best guess is that it sets on the port side in Honolulu and the farther back on the boat the better. Your choices would be the two main restaurants, Liberty or Skyline, and ask for a window seat on the sunset side or maybe Little Italy which is also on the port side. A casual choice would be the outside deck of the Aloha Cafe (buffet) but I think the best plan would be to go to the lanai Lounge on the 13th deck, watch the sunset from there and then go eat after dark. Have fun!
