Diebetic, just stared insulin injcetions. How do I keep the insulin cold, what problem can I have going thru customs with syringes. Thanks for all advice.:)

You might ask your Doc about the insulin pen that doesn't have to be kept cold. If he or she would rather not change you can use one of the small collapsible insulated bags with an ice pack. As for your syringes, just ask your Doc to write you a note on a script pad that states you are an insulin dependent diabetic and keep it in your wallet. Don't forget your glucometer/lancets/strips. Your diet probably won't be exactly perfect on the trip. :)

I believe if you ask your room steward they will even provide you with a sharps disposal for your room.

Insulin does not need to be kept refridgerated. It should be listed on the vial. I am a nurse and our insulin on the floor is kept with other meds-locked up -these days, not in the fridge.;)

Cruise sill 152 days away but I got the FEVER BAD. Seems like 4/29/will never get here. Thanks again for ypur help.
