Rental Car in Ft. Lauderdale

Just a tip about getting to your rental car... just came back from wonderful w caribbean cruise aboard Century. Next step was to pick up our rental car, drive up to Orlando to visit family. Very nice porter met us at baggage area and assisted us to an area outside where he said rental agency shuttles would be along soon to pick us up, bring us to the agency. We stood by the side of another couple (one of whom was in a wheelchair) who were waiting for the same shuttle to Hertz. 45 minutes passed; still hadn't seen a Hertz shuttle. DH finally called Hertz at the airport, they said they hadn't gotten word yet that Century was cleared yet! No one said that we were to call for the shuttle, but I wonder if its up up to Celebrity to call the agencies?? Word to the wise, if you don't see your shuttle w/in 10 minutes, call them! It's no fun sitting in the blazing sun in 95 degree heat waiting for a shuttle!
