Sure it maybe depend a little on the ship & ports, I have only used it in Long Beach and this was our expeience.

 

Long Beach - Line to get on the ship was all the way to the right and clearly marked

Tender in Cabo - We were left a note in the cabin to meet in the Alcamey bar then were escorted off

Getting off the ship directions were left in cabin to go to the dining room where we would be escorted off the ship right behind the highest level cruisers.

 

Two more cruises going out of Long Beach in the next two months and have it on both!
