Anniversaries on Carnival

My husband and I will be taking our first cruise on the Inspiration in 11 days! :D Our wedding anniversary falls in the middle of our cruise, does Carnival do anything special for occasions like that? I know we can buy the decorations from the shop but I will probably just bring my own from the dollar store and save some money. Thanks in advance!

I think you have to tell them in your booking ( that you are celebrating something )

 

We have gotten a small cake as an extra dessert in the dining room, along with the staff singing "happy Anniversary to you!" to the tune of Happy Birthday....

 

Our cabin steward also did something special for us, which I dont want to ruin the suprise.

 

But, unlike birthdays that they get from your customs info, they have no way of knowing your anniversary, so you have to tell them.

if you log in to your cruise manager and under who are traveling you can indicate whether it's your birthday, anniversary etc. I always check that off and we usually get a little something in our cabin or dessert at dinner.

The spa always sends us $50 gift card to use - If your female you could use it to get your nails done and just pay taxes and gratuity

Thanks for the tip. The only place I saw that option under cruise manager was were you can reserve a seat at the chef's table.

If your booked thru a TA call them and have them add it or call the 800 number and have them note your booking

Go to John Heald's Facebook page. The day before you depart, send him booking information (name, ship, cabin, booking #). Could net you a ship on a stick, champagne, some chocolate covered strawberries, a coupon for the spa and a coupon for a picture.

under the booking info click on the "MY GUEST" tab. It shows the travelers and any special events.
