luv2tr@v3l Posted July 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2017 This would be our first RCI cruise. So far my favorite for our family has been a Disney cruise but the price for 7 days is insane for a family of 5. My dad likes to scuba dive and our kids will range from 2-9 years old. We would appreciate any recommendations for itineraries and/or thoughts on kids club or other things for kids to do at sea. We're looking at sometime between Jan-March before spring break.
payitforward Posted July 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2017 I would start by reviewing this page: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=1326&taparam=ECCGoogleUS_K405685650_A41849512933_NS&&supai=203233676536&supsn=g&supmbl=&suppos=1t4&supap1=&supap2=&supdev=c&suprnd=1338125055331901428&source=84265&gclid=CjwKCAjwtdbLBRALEiwAm8pA5dtjhWJwTqhkTYwMdoLamKpeP_ynHUNV7Vl1ChWox_qBe9ekwsddeRoCkF8QAvD_BwE Royal has great ships going to most of these destinations. Personally, with kids, I would stick with ships in the Freedom class or larger. Decide what's most important to you and your family: Pricing Departure port Ship amenities Children's programs Shows etc. Once you've done that, you'll have no problem picking a cruise.
