VTgreentraveler Posted August 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2017 We'll be stopping in St. Kitt on the Dawn in November and so far the only shore excursions on the NCL website are dolphin swim. We'd really like to go to Mount Liamuiga Volcano. Is that a shore excursion that we can/should plan on our own? We get in a 8am and leave at 6pm that day. I'm afraid it is too long of a hike to risk doing on our own, and perhaps that is why NCL isn't offering it. thanks for any insight!
Rare bedfordmom Posted August 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2017 I did Mt Liamuga or Mt Misery as is called in2009 thru Royal Caribbean. it was the most dangerous climb we've attempted and we regularly climb the 4000K in NH. shortly after we returned a hiker broke their leg and the ship dropped the excursion, If u were to go I would book thru Royalston but I would not recommend as it's a rain forest with the risk of torrential rains and mudslides Sent from my iPhone using Forums
