Tours in Suva and Lautoka

On Explorer of the Seas, in Feb with stops in Suva and Lautoka, We usually do our own thing rather than pay the huge onboard mark ups.

 

As we have never stopped at these ports, anyone have any suggested tours?

 

I have had contact with this operator, so looking for recommendations or feedback on Moana tours.

We did the jewel of Fiji tour in Suva. We booked privately and directly to them, not as a ships tour, paid half the price and had our own guide all day. Our children were 10&7 and loved the whole day.

Google jewel of Fiji tours and there is a site along the lines of discover Fiji tours. The one we did was the awesome foursome, they adapt the tour to suit the cruise ship times. The lunch they put on was fantastic. Cooked in the traditional way, in the ground and more than enough to eat. Our guide actually did our tour to avoid the cruise ship passengers! So they did the rafting first, we did the village. It was great! Plus we got more time.
