Has anyone been waitlist for Cruise?

I was wondering if anyone else has been waitlisted and paid the deposit for cruise the week of sailing and how did it turn out? We are sailing on Saturday on the Elation and I'm needing to add someone to my room but during renovations they changed our cabin to accommodate less people so now on a waitlist. Fingers crossed

Keep in mind that guests that are booked within 24 hours of sailing are scrutinized a little more thoroughly.... make sure all of their documentation for travel is in order and present at check in.
