Mexico 10day San Francisco 1st Formal Night

For what it's worth, we did the 7-day Mexican Riviera on the Ruby out of LA in February, and the first formal night was the second sea day. Other cruisers reported similar on their 7-day/Mexico/Ruby sailings, so it did seem to be a pattern. It threw me for a loop, but I wonder if bumping it out a day doesn't increase their ability to sell spa services for formal night.

This happened to me as well on a 10 day Sea of Cortez Ruby Princess cruise out of Los Angeles. The formal night was the second sea day, not the first. I was really surprised to see that.
