Althun Ha

We did Altun Ha with the 'Biking in Belize' excursion offered by Carnival.

Besides Altun Ha, I've only been to Dzibichaltun (Mexico), so don't have much to go on but this one seemed pretty small in comparison. There's 2 sets of pyramids, and some are pretty well preserved-you can actually climb them.

If this is your only chance to see some ruins on your cruise, do it!

We were in Belize in Nov and did the Altun Ha tour. We booked it at the dock where the tender droped us off. There was a tour company with lots of guides trying to sell it (so feel free to bargain). It cost us $35 per person and included the city tour. The tour ran about 4 hours. The ruins were very interesting.
