andie717 Posted November 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2017 My kids want to Snuba in April. I see the excursion offered in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Does anyone have an opinion on which is better?
Pellaz Posted November 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2017 I think the one in Grand Cayman is better because you can bring your own underwater camera; the one in Coz states explicitly that you can't. I did the one at GC a month ago and, while there is no guarantee that you'd go to the same site, when we did it, it was literally a 3-minute walk from the meetpoint at the end of the pier to the dive shop and the site. The dive was done from shore and we swam over a shipwreck; it was pretty cool. It was also fairly short; we were on the first tender to GC and we were all done by around 10am, leaving several more hours to explore the port an find other snorkeling spots. I opted not to do the Coz excursion so I can't speak for the particulars; maybe someone else can chime in about that one.

I booked it yesterday while on sale for Grand Cayman! :) I'm sure it will be fun!
