Writercat Posted December 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2005 We are a party of two who will be in the ports of Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize, and Grand Cayman in January on Princess. I scuba, but she doesn't. Do you know of any outfit or excursion we could do together that allows me to scuba and her to snorkel? Should I wait until we arrive and ask local operators there? Thanks in advance for any advice!
sportsterjohn Posted December 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Eagle Ray in Coz and Neptune in GC will do combo trips. I can recommend both ops.
Shellintampa Posted December 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2005 We have used Blue Angel twice for this excursion. it's called their combo boat. For diving they will do Santa Rosa reef. Very great dive. Snorklers will snorkle 3 reefs and divers dive 2 or you can dive 2 and snorkle 1 also. We will always use these folks very accomadating. Shellintampa Posted December 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Ps. I would not wait to set anything up for the diving. You are going to want to research the outfits, before going unless you use a ship excursion. ( I do not recommend that tho') Brian

I've gone out with Neptunes divers and had a good time. Casey and Keith are nice people and you won't be in a crowd. I haven't gone out with either Blue Angel or eagleray, but I've read good things about both of them.
