What is the condition of the resort? 743.00 for 2 nights before 19 % resort fee, Is that a reasonable price for San Juan? Try the Doubletree or Comfort suites as they are in a better area and much cheaper. Even try the Hyatt House or Hyatt place if they are taking reservations now. mozzerbythesea Posted December 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 25, 2017 I stayed at this property on Dec. 2 and the condition was very good. They still had a little construction going on, but overall, the lobby looked mostly done and it was immaculately clean and the rooms were perfect. We spent a lot of time at the pool, which was gorgeous and perfect by the time of our 12/2/17 stay. We also LOVE the location because it's right on Isla Verde Beach and the swimming was wonderful and the water was great! We love to take advantage of the Marriott chairs and umbrellas at the beach at this location. It was pretty quiet and mellow because most of the hotel was housed with FEMA workers. This is our go to hotel whenever we stay in Puerto Rico. Your fee for the 2 nights is no bargain, but it's not a huge upcharge from what I'm used to seeing on their website. If you keep the reservation, you'll be very comfortable.
Fred&Lily Posted December 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2017 We're booked for three nights post-cruise stay Jan 20 at $208/night (before resort fees and taxes are added in). We've been here twice before on pre-cruise and post-cruise stays for $99/night using that site where you don't know what you got until after it's booked and paid. Hint: Use Hotxxxx.com and ask for 3 star or better in ZipCode 00979
