Tinkerbell Posted December 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2005 It was just listed that this is one of the options for St. Thomas while we are there. Has anyone done this thru NCL in St. Thomas. It says you kayak through many inlets? Any input would be great. thanks

lka1012 Posted January 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I have booked it twice, and each time, not enough people from the ship booked it to "make up" a tour. I know I could have called and tried to book it on my onw, but I "forced" myself to spend the day shopping instead.
MarkMark Posted April 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Updating this old thread, just came back from my cruise and did this excursion thru NCL. The kayaking was great, paddled about 45 minutes to a small rocky beach, group of about 15, two person kayacks. There were 3 guides with us. We stopped once on the way out for a breif but informative ecological talk. Once at the rocky beach we were able to snorkle. Don't expect coral reef snorkiling, you are in a protected mangrove area with many juvenile fish, still lots to see, but this isn't "Finding Nemo". Upon our return, a 5 minute debreifing, and more talk about the nature preserve. Not sure if this was to stall for time so they cut burn CD's of pictures that were taken during the trip, or maybe necessary to keep the status of the tour in the Official Marine Sanctuary. Over all a good trip
