Guarantee OV on Vista

In 9 cruises I have never booked a guarantee - but the rate seemed right so I thought what the heck .....

 

Will I find out prior to embarkation day what my cabin is ?

We just booked a guarentee on the Magic for March and we were told that they make the decision about 10 days before sailing. We were booked in a cove and changed to guarentee and saved a couple hundred dollars.

I booked a GTY once and we got our cabin assignment about a week or so prior to sailing. Location was horrendous. Under the pool deck. We could hear the crew putting out chairs in the morning. Sounded like elephants. Never again!

We have booked balcony guarantee 2 times. First a long time ago on the Triumph and got an aft balcony. Second time was on the Breeze and we got a cove. We were happy with both locations and rooms.
