Any rental agencies with shuttles to pier in FT. L?

Does anyone know if any of the rental car agencies in Ft. L offer a shuttle to the cruise ship port? Years ago, in Miami, we had an agency that took us to the pier on the day we dropped the car off. Never had a rental car in Ft. L. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thrifty is your best bet, they're the only one with a large off airport site. They're located at the midport entrance to Port Everglades. Budget also has a small neighborhood location on SE 17th Street across from the entrance to the port. Enterprise also has an off airport site. All of the other rental car companies are located in the new "Car Rental Center" which is a large parking garage in the middle of the airport terminals and they no longer have their own shuttles. It's only a 5 minute cab ride from FLL to Port Everglades though.

sounds like a cab ride is the answer. Any guess at the cost for a cab from airport to port everglades?

The cabs are metered, depending on traffic nine to fifteen dollars.

I called all of the agencies and if i rent from Hertz at the airport and return to Hertz on US 1, they will arrange a shuttle. they are only 3 miles away. If not, i will just get a taxi also.
