Muster time on Empress out of Miami

Doors are closed at 90 minutes prior a cruise due to regulations. That's 2:30. The time of the drill is irrelevant, because it happens after the doors are closed (gang way moved or any other way you want to say it). It's normal for muster to happen 30 minutes before sail away.

And if your plane is delayed?Seeing your screen name, I am assuming you're from New Jersey.Traffic in Miami during the day ranges from PITA to excruciatingly slow.Best of luck to ya but you are cutting it thinner than a deli machine:o

Muster drill was at 3:30 on the Jan 15th sailing we just completed.

Agreeing with previous poster......if you make the ship after getting into Miami at 1:40, you should go to the casino as early as possible - because you will have the luck of the gods with you.
