papasmurf Posted December 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2005 My wife and I are having a special anniversary coming up and plan on a trip to Alaska this summer on the Mercury. Although we have enjoyed tablemates in previous cruises we would like to get a table for two for dinner for the entire cruise. We experienced this flexibility when we went freestyle cruising with NCL last year. Is this possible with Celebrity and if so, how available are these small tables and how do you get them? Comments appreciated! Happy Holidays to All
DancerOT Posted December 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2005 It is possible to get a table for two. Just ask your travel agent to make the request. I have no idea how available they are. Enjoy your cruise.
sugarking Posted December 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2005 We have taken many Celebrity cruises and always ask the travel agent to request a table for two. We never get one and we see the Mait'd who usually can get us one.
Mercruiser Posted January 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2006 If you cannot confirm a table for two ahead of time, I suggest that you board the ship as early as possible, e.g 11:00 a.m. Then go directly to the Maiter D. When we were on Mercury, he had a table set up in the Pavillion Night Club, aft on the Entertainment Deck. You might want to discuss ahead of time whether you would be willing to dine at the early or late seating in order to get a table for two.
