A Knitter Posted December 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2005 Hi. Emailed Ileana at www.whalespatagonia.com and she was kind enough to explain about the tour, what to wear, etc. When I agreed to book for our party this is what she said. We have 7 in our party. Has anyone had this happen? Dear Maria : Why is necessary your passport number ?? Because ,that is required to show at the port's administration to help to shorten the times at the dock. Our dock , is not only for cruises. We export and import fish, wool, stones , etc and the port security office needs all the information at the dock. But we talked with the security chief and he said that with only two passport number will be allright . We hope that you understand, and don't feel uncomfortable with this. Any question, please tell us . Thank you Best Regards Ileana Medici
mike35 Posted December 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2005 I've had to do this with several tour guides throughout the world. I have no problem with it, as it appears to be standard procedure with my tour companies. Mike
