We are sailing on Anthem on 6/14 as a party of six. We plan to fly in 2 days before into Newark. We will be booking two rooms and plan to spend a day exploring in NYC. We have narrowed down our selection to the below. They are all somewhat similar in price. Any feedback on these? Location advantages/disadvantages?

 

Hilton Newark Penn Station - $255

Free airport shuttle, 2 double beds

 

 

Hyatt House Jersey City - $289

No airport shuttle, 2 queen beds, free breakfast

 

 

Doubletree Jersey City - $269

Not sure if they have shuttle, 2 double beds plus sofa bed

 

 

Anyone who has stayed at these and has some feedback would be appreciated.

I answered your post about staying at the Hyatt.

 

Only the Newark Penn Station Hilton will have an airport shuttle.

 

You will have to pay for transportation to the Jersey City hotels. If these hotels fit your budget, any of them will be just fine. These hotels all have excellent transportation into midtown and downtown Manhattan. The Newport area of Jersey City has been developed within the last 20 years. These are upscale hotels which service business travelers.
