Hotel in Miami

The Fountainbleu is NOT in South Beach but Mid Beach. It is a couple of miles from South Beach.

Yes, it most certainly is NOT in South Beach. I usually try to correct those mistakes when I see them, but I guess I missed that one. :o

The Fontainebleau is 25 blocks NORTH of the northern most part of "South Beach", that would be a rather long walk! ;)

Has anyone stayed at the Colony Hotel lately?

I saw a resonable rate for them..but am wondering is this a "scary" hotel.

or..is there a room in South Beach that is under $200? for a night that is nice?

Thanks for you help

I haven't been in the rooms at the Colony, but the location is great. Here are some Trip Advisor reviews if you haven't already read them... http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34439-d85104-Reviews-Colony_Hotel-Miami_Beach_Florida.html

As for nice hotels under $200/night... Sure, there are lots of them... In September! ;)
