First time on Celebrity in years. I am not familar with the boarding proceedures and a few other questions. I hope some of you experts can

help me.

First, ship departs at 4:30 from Ft. Lauderdale, what time should we get

to the pier?

Second, I went on line and filled out the information and printed out an

express pass. Is that all I need besides passports??? No other forms to

fill out??? (Luggage tags came in a booklet and I will attach those.)

Third, crew tips, on our last several cruises I went to guest services

and added crew tips to our bill and put little paper receits in envelopes and passed those out to the crew. Our bill was settled with a credit card.

I thought I had read on this board that you could prepay tips but I could not find that on line at the Celebrity web site, also I thought I remember someone posting that you could not put tips on your credit card once on board. Do I need to bring cash for this.

Last, the casino, cash needed here too I guess, last few cruises were on Disney so I didn't have this issue, but I like to put everything I can on my credit card and not carry much cash. Again, not sure if you can buy tokens or chips with credit cards.

Thanks for help. I need it!

Do I need to bring cash for this. It's too late to pre-pay, but half way through the cruise you will recieve a card asking if you want the tips to be added to you account. Just say yes. Or you can take cash, or get cash advances from the casino. See below

Again, not sure if you can buy tokens or chips with credit cards. Take your room key to the teller and ask for a cash advance, up to $2,000/day. It will be charged to your room account. You will not be hit with the cash advance fee your credit card would hit you with as they put it through as one charge on your room bill at the end of the cruise as a purchase.

Thanks, thats just the info I needed. I don't like to carry much cash but I

never use the cash advance on a credit card because of the fees.

We can't wait, even convienced my husband to bring the tux and just stopped at the book store to pick up a "ports of call" tour book. We almost on our way!
