passport question

cruising on april 29 to the eastern carribean from what I take from rccl website passports will not be needed until 2007 .Does this sound right?

Yes. Make sure in advance that everyone has the proper birth certificate, you don't want a hassle the last few days.

Yes that is what i heard as well. I did get my passport earlier this yeah though so I would not have any problems. I found it alot easier then carried my birth cert. and ID. But thats just me

Spoke with someone that just returned from Alaska. She said the line for folks with passports was extremely short and the line for those with certified birth certificates was extremely long. I've never been anywhere that required a passport but will be getting one soon for a trip in June. Hope this helps.

Had same worry for WC cruise next week. The rules tighten for travel Dec 31 2006. I understand that Carib cruises/Canada/Mexico travel bc are all they are required this year, but you must have passport next year. I advise, apply now and get yours. We sent in 11/17 and got them 12/27. You will avoid the extra fee to expedite if you do it NOW! have fun.. We will!!!!
