Refundable vs. Non Refundable

 Share

Recommended Posts

I think it's pretty clear that the refundable deposit as an add-on is just a pit stop on the road to just doing away with it all together.

As a family of 4 who only want refundable, the current system is a big hassle. The difficultly in using the cite to browse/purchase/manage a reservation was already a negative, and it seems like RCI is intent on pushing us elsewhere.

You have to go all the way through the booking process to see the refundable rate. It will show up after you add all passenger info

Seriously? That is so ridiculous. I have no desire to book a non-refundable room. We're a family of 5 that needs 2 rooms. No way am I going through all that just to see the price.

Last year on the Allure we visited the future cruise office and booked another Allure (5 OV cabins, 10 people); Symphony Med (2 OV, 4 people); Freedom (3 OV, 6 people). All required the no longer available reduced $50 or $75 refundable deposit and we will be going on all three cruises. This year when we are on the Allure in June there will be no further future RCCL cruises. We have to screw them like they screw us

Thanks for the help, Molly! I am glad I went through the trouble... saved $119 on our spring break B2B next year. [emoji846]
