Skyrules Posted January 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2006 The Poisiden Adventure.   I have just watched part one, part two is on tomorrow night. Ughhh, wasn't it horrible, I think we managed to watch about 1/2 hr before turning it off. And I thought the original movie was bad enough! Rockie, I'm guessing you are from New Zealand?? A friend of ours in NZ was watching it and sending us text messages about how bad it was. We had it on here in Australia a couple of months ago. Skyrules Posted January 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2006 Titanic the film, not good either before a cruise.... sue :) On the first cruise I went on, they were playing Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" when we boarded the ship! That was the first thing I heard when we walked into the Purser's lobby - very encouraging! Kym

karmac Posted January 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 2, 2006 I loved the original but didnlt like the latest one. There's another one being made for the cinema's (due about March I think). Goes back to the original story of the tidal wave. I'll go & see it but will try not to expect too much. Karen
chaz cruiser Posted January 2, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 2, 2006 One of the things I remember when we had the bad weather on our cruise in Sept and we awoke to the ship on a 3-4% list was that the P&O radio was playing Dido's White Flag. The lyrics are I will go down with this ship And I won't put my hands up and surrender I remember saying to someone while holding on in the line up for breakfast that I didn't plan on going down with the ship no matter how rough the seas were!! I found it very ironic that that song was playing on the exact day that we had the rough weather and panicked passengers. Cheers, Chaz:)
