Taxi in Charleston

A couple questions:

1) We will be staying in Mt. Pleasant before our cruise, how much should we tip the taxi driver to take us from there to the cruise terminal?

2) Before we leave for the cruise, can we ask the hotel front desk to call us a cab? Do we tip them for it, and if so how much?

3) Check out time is 12pm, so we have to find something to do until at least 1pm. Do you think the hotel will call for a cab, even though we are done staying w/ them? (we are leaving our car there during the cruise)
