What is the best hotel on the Princess Hotel packages

They offer

Renaissance Ft Lauderdale which is rather high priced 218.00

Renaissance Plantation 138.00

Marriott North 138.00

Wondering what is the best one and WHY?

From what I'm finding it appear's to be a better deal to buy the Pre cruise package from Princess and then you get all of your transfers included.

At least for April which is high season.

THANKS

Renaissance Fort Lauderdale is by far the best if you don't have a car. It's a great hotel located just outside the entrance to Port Everglades, and there are dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery, drug & liquor stores as well as the very popular Water Taxi all within safe, easy walking distance of it.

Renaissance Plantation is a nice hotel but is in a office park alongside I-595 15-20 minutes west of Port Everglades with absolutely nothing to walk to. Marriott North is along I-95 in Cypress Creek about 20-30 minutes north of Port Everglades, with very little in that area to walk to.

Unless you have a rental car it's no contest between those three, go with the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale on SE 17th Street, it's well worth the extra money IMO... http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/FLLBR

If price is a concern though you can almost always book something on your own cheaper. I'm not sure exactly where Palm Harbor, FL is, but if you're flying into FLL the SE 17th Street hotels are all less than 10 minutes from the airport and just outside the entrance to the port with everything you could possibly want within easy walking distance. Holiday Inn Express "Convention Center" and Extended Stay America are both very nice, very inexpensive hotels...

Just won the Renaissance Downtown for 58.00 for 3 rooms on April 1st.

I'm very thankful for all of your help and leading me in the right direction.

Any hints on this hotel?
